The South Palm Beach County Jewish Community of greater Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Highland Beach is a dynamic and diverse community of more than 130,000 people including approximately 10,000 children among 6,000 families. The community has more than two dozen synagogues, as well as an array of schools and agencies that provide spiritual, educational, social, and human services.
The Jewish Grandparents Network is a national organization that educates, connects, and supports grandparents as essential partners in enriching Jewish life. “We envision a Jewish world that embraces grandparents as vital to our families, our communities, and our future. At Beth Ami Congregation, we care a lot about making sure everyone has enough food to eat in our community. Our food pantry is a special program that helps give food to people who are having a hard time. When you contribute to our food pantry, you directly help people who don’t have enough to eat. It makes a big difference in their lives. If you want to give food, you can check our website to see what kind of food we need the most.
Beth Ami Congregation is really happy to receive money donations that help us do good things for people. Your kind donations help us make a positive impact in our community and even beyond that. I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me as the next President of Beth Ami Congregation and honored to be following Dr. Dottie Pierce, I hope to make her proud. You have elected a strong team to represent this wonderful congregation and I am excited to start working with them in May. At the congregational meeting I shared my vision to sustain Beth Ami’s character of warmth, music and growth created through the labor of love demonstrated by Rabbi Kieffer and Rebbetzin Dianne. To do this we recognize the additional efforts needed in securing the financial future which can take on many facets.
